Adverse Decisions in Interference.
PATENT NO. 1,131,190.
On April 10, 1918, a decision was rendered that Ezechiel
Weintraub was not the first inventor of the subject-matter
covered by claims 1, 2, 3, 4 5 6 7 9 10 11, 12, 13, 14,
15, 16, 18, 19, 20, 21, 24, 31: 32, 40,'42, 46,' 48, 50, 51, and
52 of his Patent No. 1,131,190, subject  Production of
high-frequency currents,' and no appeal having been taken
within the time allowed such decision has become final.
PATENT No. 1,145,509.
On April 10, 1918 a decision was rendered that Walter
J. Pike and Roy J. Sutton were not the first inventors of
the subject-matter covered by claims 1. 3, 7, 10, and 11 of
their Patent No. 1,145,509, subject,  Electrochemicail con-
trolling apparatus, and no appeal having been taken with-
in the time allowed such decision has become final.
Interference Notice.
DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR,

Washington, D. C., May 8, 1918.
The Farmers' -Preserving Company, its assigns or legal
representatives, take notice:
An Interference having been declared by this Office be-
tween the application of Miner, Read & Tullock, 91-115
State street, New Haven, Conn., for registration of a

trade-mark and trade-mark registered August 10, 1909,
No. 74,803 to The Farmers' Preserving Company, of Ris-
ing Sun Del. and a notice of such declaration sent by
registered mail to the said The Farmers' Preserving Com-
pany at the said address having been returned by the
post-office undeliverable, notice is hereby given that un-
less said The Farmers' Preserving Company, its assigns
or legal representatives, shall enter an appearance therein
within thirty days from the first publication of this
order the interference will be proceeded with as in case
of default.
This notice will be published in the OFFICIAL GAZETTE
for three consecutive weeks.

Marks Pursuant to the Trading with the Enemy Act.
Patent No. 1,067,530, dated July 15, 1913, to Carl
Lindstrom, of Berlin, Germany.  Talking-machine.
License applied for by American Parlograph Com-
pany,, 123 Liberty street, New York city.
Patent No. 1,019,548, dated March 5, 1912, to Karl
Spitzer, of Vienna, Austria-Hungary.  Suction de-
vice for dust-laden air. License applied for by The
Hagen Corporation, Peoples' Bank Building, corner
of Fourth avenue and Wood street, Pittsburgh, Pa.
Suspension of Actions on Applications.
RUL 77. If an applicant neglect to prosecute his appli.
cation for one year after the date when the last official
notice of any action by the Office was mailed to him, the
application will be held to be abandoned, as set forth In
Rule 171.
Suspensions will only be granted for good and sufficient
cause, and for a reasonable time specified. Only one
suspension may be granted by the Primary Examiner; any
further suspension must be approved by the Commissioner.
Whenever action upon an application is suspended upon
request of an applicant, and whenever an applicant has
been called upon to put his application in condition for
interference, the period of one year running against the
application shall be considered as beginning at the date of
the last official action preceding such actions.
Whenever, during a time when the United States Is at
war, publication of an invention by the granting of a pat-
ent might, In the opinion of the Commissioner. be detri-
mental to the public safety or defense or might assist the
enemy or endanger the successful prosecution of the war,
he may suspend action on the application therefor.

A printed copy of the complete specification and draw-
ings of any patent published herein can be obtained for
five cents.
