Eckman 6 Peterson, their assigns or legal representatives,
take notice.
An interference having been declared by this Office
between   lhe application    of the West Indies Packing
Company, of McKinley, Isle of Pines, West Indies, for
registration of a trade-mark and trade-mark registered
September 14    1886, No. 13,658, to Eckman & Peterson,
of Philadelphia, Pa., and a notice of such declaration sent
by registered mail to said Eckman & Peterson at the
said address having been returned by the post-office
undeliverable, notice is hereby given that unless said
Eckman & Peterson, their assigns or legal representatives,
shall enter an appearance therein within thirty days
from the first publication of this order the interference
will be proceeded with as in case of default.
This notice will be published In the OFFFICIAL GAZETTEO
for three consecutive weeks.

Adverse Decisions in Interference.
PATENT No. 1,122,626.
On November 27 1917, a decision was rendered. that
James L. McQuarrie was not the first inventor of the
sublect-matter covered    by  claim  8  of his Patent No.
1,112,626, subject, Sector-switches, and no appeal having
been taken within the time allowed such decision has
become final.

PATENT NO. 1,160,376.
On November 10, 1917, a decision was rendered that
John Dominick Canale was not the first inventor of the
subject-matter covered by claims 5, 6, and 7 of his Patent
No. 1,160,376, subject, Nut-cracking machines, and no
appeal having been taken within the time allowed such
decision has become final.
PATENT No. 1,179,883.
On November 28, 1917, a decision was rendered that
Benjamin Wexler was not the first inventor of the subject-
matter covered by the claim of his Patent No. 1,179,883,
subject, Elevator-shaft doors, and no appeal having been
taken within the time allowed such decision has become
final.
Applications Made to the Federal Trade Commission for
Licenses under Enemy-Controlled Patents and Trade-
Marks Pursuant to the Trading with the Enemy Act.
Trade-Mark registration No. 40,115, April 14,
