The Patent Office is in need of skilled men, espe- cially those who have had special training in chemistry and physics, to fill positions as Fourth Assistant Examiners. There are ut the present time a number of vacancies which can be filled by temporary appoint- ments, pending the furnishing of a list of eligibles by the Civil Service Commission. All powers of attorney must be provided with a proper revenue stamp to the value of 25 cents.
