Adverse Decisions in Interference.
PATENT NO. 1,177,370.
On May 29, 1917, a decision was rendered that Richard
Varley was not the first inventor of the subject-matter
covered by claim 11 of his Patent No. 1,177,370, subject,
Electrical systems for auto-vehicles, and no appeal
having been taken within the time allowed such decision
has become final.
PATENT No. 1,186,553.
On June 1, 1917, a decision was rendered that Alfred
Capony was not the first inventor of the subject-matter
covered by claim 1 of his Patent No. 1,186,553, subject.
 Construction for loading automobiles In freight-cars,
and no appeal having been taken within the time allowed
such decision has become final.
PATENT NO. 1,198,691.
On May 29, 1917, a decision was rendered that Edwin
D. Belknap was not the first inventor of the subject-
matter covered by claim 1 of his Patent No. 1,198,691,
subject,  Structure for use as a stencil-card, and no
appeal having been taken within the time allowed such
decision has become final.
Interference Notice.

John L. Rodgers & Co., their assigns or legal representa-
tives, take notice:
An interference lIaving been declared by this Office
between the application of Everett, Aughenbaugh & Co.,
of Waseca, Mina., for registration of a trade-mark and
trade-nark registered August 25, 1891. No. 20,075, to
John L. Rodgers & Co., of 218 Spears' Wharf, Baltimore,
.1d., and a notice of such declaration sent by registered
mail to said John L. Rodgers & Co. at the said address
having been returned by the post-office undeliverable.
notice is hereby given that unless said John L. Rodgers
& Co., their assigns or legal representatives, shall enter
an appearance therein within thirty days from the first
publication of this order the interference will be pro-
ceeded with as in case of default.
This notice will be published in the OFFICIAL GAZETTE
for three consecutive weeks.

tions as cannot be made by the Office; but a drawing can-
not be withdrawn unless a photographic cupy has been
filed and accepted by the Examiner as a part of the appli-
cation. Permissible changes In the construction shown In
any drawing may be made only within the Office and after
an approved photographic copy has been filed. Substitute
drawings will not be admitted In any case unless required
by the Office.
