vised Statutes and section 5 of the act approved July 4,
1884, and with the approval of the Secretary of the In-
terior, Charles F. Schmelz, of Detroit, Mich., registry No.
2,858, is hereby disbarred from practice before the UnitedE
States Patent Office for gross misconduct.

Classification of German Patents,
Printed copies of a translation of the Manual of Clafia-
fication of the German Patent Office may be had upon ap-
plication to the Commissioner of Patents at $1.00 per copy
With the aid of this translation and the numerical list
of German patents, classified according to classes, sub-
classes, and groups, which is accessible in the Scientffic'
Library, it will be possible to make complete searches in
the German patents.
