The stock of publications, exclusive of printed copies
of patents, formerly held for sale by the Patent Office. has
been transferred to the Superintendent of Documents,
Government Printing Office.  Orders for Patent Office
publications should NOT be sent to the Patent Office, but
to the  Superintendent of Documents, to whom all re-
mittances for such publications should be made payable.
Printed copies of specifications and drawings of patents
will be furnished by the Patent Office, as heretofore.

Classification of German Patents,
Printed copies of a translation of the Manual of Classi-
fication of the German Patent Office may be bad upon ap-
plication to the Commissioner of Patents at $1.00 per copy.
With the aid of this translation and the numerical list
of German patents, classified according to classes, sub-
classes, and groups, which Is accessible In the Scientific
Library, It will be possible to make complete searches in
the German patents.
Delivery of Patent.
RULE 169. The patent will be delivered or mailed on the
day of its date to the attorney of record, if there be one ;
If not, to the patentee; or, If the attorney so request, to
the patentee or assignee of an Interest therein.
