From s-me of the information that came out in the test many, we believe it wc-..-d be useful to have the Inspectors Genera include information onvrogress made in resolving auditors' findi as a part of the Inspectors General's semiannual report for those agencies having In -ectors General. Such reporting would make it easier for you and for us to trace agencies progress in resolving this problem. It would also encourage the agencies to resolve these findings more promptly since keeping score tends to promote action. We thought we would bring this idea to you*: attention as you might think it appropriate to inc1ude it in the Committee report on this subject.
