Wesley Matthews, Assistant Treasurer of The American Acad- emy of Political and Social Science since 1950, died December 10, 1962. Mr. Matthews was associated with the Girard Trust Corn Exchange Bank of Philadelphia for many years. He was made an Officer in 1939 and a Vice-President in 1951. He was a member of the Board of the Women's Medical College of Pennsylvania and had been its Treasurer since 1949.
