                        SOUTHEAST ALASKA NATIVE LAND ENTITLEMENT
                                FINALIZATION AND JOBS PROTECTION

                          Mr. WYDEN, from the Committee on Energy and Natural
                                     Resources, submitted the following


                                              REPORT

                                              [To accompany S. 340]

                       The Committee on Energy and Natural Resources, to which was
                     referred the bill (S. 340) to provide for the settlement of certain
                     claims under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act, and for
                     other purposes, having considered the same, reports favorably
                     thereon with an amendment and recommends that the bill, as
                     amended, do pass.
                       The amendment is as follows:
                       Strike out all after the enacting clause and insert in lieu thereof
                     the following:
                     SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
                     This Act may be cited as the Southeast Alaska Native Land Entitlement Final-
                     ization and Jobs Protection Act.
                     SEC. 2. DEFINITIONS.
                     In this Act:
                          (1) MAPs.-The term maps means the maps entitled Sealaska Land Enti-
                        tlement Finalization, numbered 1 through 18, and dated June 14, 2013.
                          (2) SEALASKA.-The term Sealaska means the Sealaska Corporation, a Re-
                        gional Native Corporation established under the Alaska Native Claims Settle-
                        ment Act (43 U.S.C. 1601 et seq.).
                          (3) SECRETARY.-The term Secretary means the Secretary of the Interior.
                          (4) STATE.-The term State means the State of Alaska.
                     SEC. 3. FINALIZATION OF ENTITLEMENT.
                     (a) IN GENERAL.-If, not later than 90 days after the date of enactment of this
                     Act, the Secretary receives a corporate resolution adopted by the board of directors
                     of Sealaska agreeing to accept the conveyance of land described in subsection (b) in
                     accordance with this Act as full and final satisfaction of the remaining land entitle-
                     ment of Sealaska under section 14(h) of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act
                     (43 U.S.C. 1613(h)), the Secretary shall-
                          (1) implement the provisions of this Act; and
