The Committee on Energy and Natural Resources, to which was
referred the bill (S. 32) to provide for conservation, enhanced recre-
ation opportunities, and development of renewable energy in the
California Desert Conservation Area, and for other purposes, hav-
ing considered the same, reports favorably thereon with an amend-
ment in the nature of a substitute and recommends that the bill,
as amended, do pass.
The amendment is as follows:

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE; TABLE OF CONTENTS.
(a) SHORT TITLE.-This Act may be cited as the California Desert Protection and
Recreation Act of 2018.
