    Thee  remains much to be done to solve
America's race problems. No instiuton is untouched
by the harm which the racisrn cancer can cause.
Professional sports leagues are no exception. Thus
far, public criticism has highlighted the discussion of
the problem in sports and a conversation regarding
solutions has been largely absent. For the dialogue to
begin there must be first an acceptance that a
