residence, in order to promote-our welfare through the development of gov-
ernmental and economic enterprises as they relate to the Public Law 93-638
and other Indian programs,-:do establish this Constitution and Bylaws.


                              ,Article 1 - Name

The name of this organization shall be the Village of Ouzinkie.


                               Article II - Definition of Territory

The boundaries of'*the Village of Ouzinkie are:

     Beginning at'a point shown on'1'.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey
     Chart No. 8534 of Marmot Bay andKupreanof Strait at approxi-
     mately 152 degrees 31' 10 W.Lonqitvde .57 degrees 55' N.Latit-
     ude and designated as Uzinki Pointi thence in a Northeasterly
     direction along the Northwesterly shoreline of Spruce Island
     1-1/2 miles more or less to a point approximately 152 degrees
     30' 05 W.Longitude '57 degrees 56' 30 W.Latitude; thence
     Easterly in a straight line approximately 1-1/2 miles to a
     Northwesterly shoreline of a cove known and designated as Balika
     Basin and Cove; thence following the meander line of the South
     shore of Balika Basin and Cove in an easterly direction approxi-
     mately 1 mile more or less to a point at about 152 degrees
     25' 30 W.Longitude 57 degrees 55' 30 N. Latitude; thence in a
     Southwesterly direction 1-5/8 miles more or less to a point on
     the Southwesterly shore line of Spruce Island at approximately
     152 degrees 26' 10 W. Longitude 57 degrees 54' N. Latitude;
     thence Northwesterly in a straight line approximately 2-3/4 miles
     to the point of beginning.


                               Article III - Membership
Section 1 - All Native persons whose names shall appear on the membership
roll and being residents within the geographical coverage of this Village
of Ouzinkie for at least 60 continuous days shall be members of the organ-
ization.
