L. 103-454, 108 Stat. 4791-4792). The most recent Notice was published in the Federal Register, 79 Fed. Reg. No. 19 (January 29, 2014). Initially developed as an internal reference document to aid division employees in their work, the Directory is now one of Indian Affairs' most requested publications, used by federal, state and local governments, news media, business, researchers, and the general public to connect with Indian Country.
