     We, the members of the United Aui z rn -Ln -omu-ity 1oated- -
i. Placer County,. State of California, in order to promote our
common welfare and to secure to ourselves and our descendants
rights, powers and privileges inherent in our sovereign status, and
to exercise the rights granted to us under the Auburn Zndian

Restoration Act, P.L. 103-434, and the Act of JUne 18, 1934, 25
U.S.C. 1S 461, et seq., 48 Stat. 984, an amended, more commonly
)mown as the Indian Reorganization Act, do hereby adopt this
Constitution.


                       -ART=L   T. NAME

     The name of this tribal entity shall be the United Auburn
nUdian Cmmunity of the Auburn Rancheria, hereafter referred to in
this Constitution as the wCommunity.


             ARTICLZ MI. TERRRTOY MD JURISDICTION
     The jurisdiction of the Community shall extend to all lands
acquired by the Community or by the United States in trust for the
