FOR THE
NATIVE VILLAGE OF PILOT STATION, AK 99650
PREAMBLE
We, a group of Indians, Aleuts, and Eskimos who are residents of Pilot Station,
Alaska, having a common bond of [residence] and/or [association] or [occupation], in
order to promote our welfare, through the development of governmental and economic
enterprises, including exercising the right and powers granted under authority of Section
16 & 17 of the Indian Reorganization Act (IRA) of 1934 amended 1936 and P. L. 93-638
and any future amendments thereto, do establish this constitution and bylaws.
ARTICLE I - NAME
The name of this organization shall be PILOT STATION TRADITIONAL
COUNCIL.
ARTICLE II - DEFINITION OF TERRITORY
The exterior boundaries of Pilot Station shall coincide with land selected under the
Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act, (ANCSA) and any other land acquired in this
Village.
