                          CONSTITUTION AND BYLAWS
                                      OF  THE
                          Village of Aleknagik, Alaska 99555


                                    PREAMBLE

We, a group of members of the Traditional Council and all members of the village enrolled in the
Traditional Council of Aleknagik, Alaska having a common bond being at least one-quarter (1/4)
or more Eskimo,  Aleut, or Indian, do hereby in order to promote our welfare through the
development of governmental and economic enterprise establish this Constitution and Bylaws.


                                ARTICLE I   - NAME

               The name of this organization shall be Aleknagik Traditional.


                   ARTICLE II   - DESTINATION OF TERRITORY

The  boundaries of the Aleknagik Traditional territories shall be the same as the Aleknagik
Natives Limited.


                            ARTICLE   III - MEMBERSHIP

Section 1. All persons whose names shall appear on the Census Base Roll (being one-quarter
(1/4) or more, Eskimo, Aleut, or Indian) of this village enrolled in Aleknagik Traditional Council
shall be eligible for membership.


Section 2. New Members.

(a) Children. All children of any member who is enrolled in Aleknagik Traditional shall be
    eligible for membership.

(b) New  Resident. Any  person who  becomes a resident, (being one-quarter (1/4) or more
    Eskimo, Aleut, or Indian) of Aleknagik Traditional may be adopted by the council by a
    majority vote in a regularly called meeting.


 Section 3. Definition of Member. Any person that is one-quarter (1/4) or more Eskimo, Aleut,
 or Indian.


 Section 4. Definition of Adult. Any person who is 18 years of age or older will be considered an
 adult.
