AMENDNENT


                        CONSTITUTION AND BYLAWS

                                of the

                            SUQUXMISH TRIBE



Amendment IV


Article III - POWERS OF THE GOVERNING BODY is hereby   ended by adding
a new subpart (i) and renumber old subpart (1) to be nw subpart (j).
The new subpart (1) reads as follows:

     (i) To pass ordinances that govern the conduct of all persons
     and regulate all property within the Tribe's juriidiction to
     the fullest extent allowed under applicable federil law, that
     provide for the maintenance of law and order and .he administra-
     tion of Justice, and that promote the social and -conmic welfare
     of the Suquamish people.
