Abstract
For centuries, just war theory has provided the
moral decision-making standard for war. In
recent years, this traditional theory has been
updated and adopted to address the issue of
humanitarian intervention. In this paper, I
utilize both of these traditions to tackle the
important decision of whether or not to
intervene in genocide. I find that the case of
genocide is a unique one that requires
additional theoretical adaptations. I address
