In brief, both the United States Supreme Court and Congress have addressed the issue of statutes of limitation applicable to securities actions, imposing a uniform one-year statute of limitations. This dull topic has obscured the importance of the recent changes concerning the maintenance of securities actions, and litigators not familiar with recent judicial and statutory developments proceed in peril of mistakes or missed oppor- tunities. II.
